🎬 3D Scene Editor

Master the full-featured 3D scene editor with real-time rendering, transform controls, and professional editing tools

🖥️ Interface Overview

The Scene Editor is your main workspace for creating and editing 3D game worlds. It's divided into several panels:

Viewport (Center)

The main 3D view where you see and interact with your scene. Supports perspective and orthographic views. Use mouse controls to orbit, pan, and zoom.

Hierarchy Panel (Left)

Tree view of all objects in your scene. Drag and drop to parent/unparent objects. Right-click for context menu options.

Inspector Panel (Right)

View and edit properties of the selected object. Transform, materials, components, and scripts are all configured here.

Assets Panel (Bottom)

Browse, import, and organize your project assets including 3D models, textures, audio, and scripts.

🔧 Transform Tools

The transform gizmo appears when you select an object, allowing precise manipulation:

Move Tool (W)

Drag the colored arrows to move along X (red), Y (green), or Z (blue) axes. Drag the squares between arrows to move on a plane.

Rotate Tool (E)

Drag the colored circles to rotate around each axis. Hold Shift for 15° snapping.

Scale Tool (R)

Drag the colored cubes to scale along each axis. Drag the center cube for uniform scaling.

💡 Precision Editing

For precise values, use the Inspector panel to enter exact numbers for Position, Rotation, and Scale.

🌍 View Modes

Perspective View

Default 3D view with depth and perspective - how players will see your game.

Orthographic Views

Top, Front, Side views for precise object placement without perspective distortion.

Wireframe Mode

See the mesh structure of all objects. Useful for complex scenes with many overlapping objects.
